After that, they prepared another live-service shooters, but now based on their famous franchise, Tom’s Clancy: Division Heartlands and X-Defiant.
XDefiant is finally set to make its debut on May 21st, marking the end of a series of delays that have kept eager fans waiting. Originally unveiled in 2021 under the name Tom Clancy’s XDefiant, the game garnered attention for its unique blend of Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, and The Division elements. However, Ubisoft faced criticism from loyal Tom Clancy fans, leading to the removal of the prefix. Despite setbacks, including missed launch windows and gameplay inconsistencies, XDefiant is now gearing up for release with a promising lineup of features and content.
